Another one's on the way

I hate that I have been awfully silent for almost a month. I have had a lot going on that blogging simply became impossible. I went through probably the toughest week of my life when my dear uncle passed on so suddenly. It is still difficult for me to accept this reality but I hold my head high with pride because of the legacy he has left behind. Saying goodbye wasn’t easy but I know that you are in a better place, may your soul rest in eternal peace.

However it hasn’t been all sadness, it’s also been an exciting time because another one is on the way! Louis and I were thrilled to find out earlier this year that we were having a second child. I am so grateful to God for this special blessing. Little miss sunshine is going to be a big sister, wow! I am 22 weeks and can already feel the kicks and little movements. I always wonder what he/she is getting up to in there. Going at it the second time and you would think it gets easier; not really the case! It’s been so different from the first. The back pain this time round has been so intense and the morning sickness even worse. I also don’t get enough time to rest, thanks to miss sunshine. Not like the first when I had all the time to myself.

On a fashion note, any pregnant woman will tell you one thing, COMFORT! I haven’t yet had time to shop maternity clothing so stretch dresses have been my go to for styling. I find these dresses comfortable, simple and they flatter the bump without making me look bulky. I added a scarf for a chic finishing touch. I look forward to sharing with you my bump style for the coming months.
