Paple Rayn turns 3

On 16th July, 8:30pm at the Forest Mall parking yard, the lights went on, the runway was open and the captivating show was about to start. The Paple Rayn 3rd Annivesary fashion show was nothing short of amazing. With many of the renowned names in the fashion industry showcasing some of their latest work and the most riveting dance performance, the audience was left in atmost amazement.  The event was well organized, and I must say KUDOS to Suesanne Tumusiime the CEO of the Paple Rayn brand for the awesome job done. Only tenacity like hers can pull off such an event.

Here is a quick runway report;

Mozaic’s re-birth collection made quite the grand opening. Designer Brenda Nakalema made a statement as a first timer to the runway show and we can see she is clearly going places. This collection was inspired by her own personal journey about re-inventing herself.  This collection was about a woman with confidence who is not afraid to dream and to reach for her potential

I totally fell in love with the sweet angelic collection by Anita Beryl of BerylQouture. The collection featured very feminine and elegant silhouettes in white and gold plus her attention to detail couldn’t go unnoticed. She also proudly carried the Ugandan torch at the Nigeria Fashion Week earlier this month. Way to go Anita!

K Raphael takes innovativeness to a whole new level. His Gladiator collection was very futuristic but also practical. In fact, if you are into grunge, these looks will give you the modern edgy look. His out of the box thinking keeps pushing the fashion boundaries. Just what we need in this industry

Paple Rayn is a men's bespoke clothing that was launched in 2015. It was developed to serve as representation believed as a fusion of art and fashion. The collection has a versatile and unique character with its stitching and fabric style aimed at dressing a modern day urban dapper man

Then there was the jaw dropping Vency’s Collection by Diane Vence. The collection featured racy sheer gowns that we have only seen the likes of J’lo and Beyonce pull off on the red carpet. Ladies this collection is not for the faint hearted

Thanks for the awesome show Paple Rayn, we cant wait for next year!!

Love and blessings
