Tripple Take

Happy Monday everyone, how was your weekend? I hope those of you in Kampala have been busy restaurant hopping, because Kampala restaurant week is on! If you have not, then it’s time to get eating and join in celebrating good food at great prices. I have been to just one restaurant and the overall experience has been awesome. With 6 days left I say forget calorie counting and go out there and eat up. You can always diet after the restaurant week!

Okay, on to fashion now. Wardrobe maximisation has been on my mind a lot lately. This is basically making the most of what you already own without having to buy more stuff (not that it hurts to have some more clothes). I believe that being stylish and fashionable doesn’t have to be pricy or take a toll on your finances. Also don’t limit yourself to wearing your pieces in just one particular way. Challenge yourself to be creative, after all, wearing a piece the same way all the time is just plain boring.

Here are three different looks from one dress.

And there could be many more looks depending on the occasion….

Look 1

Here I paired the dress with a Lantin Vest Blazer from Jumia, Nine west heels and a zebra print purse. A full blazer would also be great on this look. This is a perfect going out on the town look.

Look 2

Casual Smart

Just the dress paired with strappy sandals from Zara. Notice the dash of turquoise on the earrings, H&M purse  and sandals. I love the way coral red goes with turquoise. This is perfect for a casual weekend look.

Look 3

Simply Chic

This is a really pretty and classy look. I paired the dress with a little white coat that I was gifted and black pumps from Shivan’s Collection. I wore this look to church recently but it can also be a great work look.

Which one is your favourite look?
